greatsky Few bands are able to reach out of the speakers and grab you by the throat and not let go. Long after the album is over you still hear the melodies and kick ass guitar, bass, drums and vocals haunting your thoughts and you catch yourself humming along. That's when you know it's time to crank it on all over again. Louder than the last time. This is music done greatly.

Gypsy has somehow created a sound both in lyrics and melody that is far more mature than the young musicians all in their early twenties would alude to - reminiscent of classic rock and metal bands from the late 70s and early 80s and yet they have managed to forge a fresh sound all their own.
No small feat - kudos to them - I will be listening to this as much as humanly possible all the while introducing them to everyone I can. These guys deserve a wider audience. This new album is a serious contender for album of the year - bar none. Get it. Crank it. Tell your friends about it. This is serious music. Favorite track: Warchild.
